A letter of application, or application letter, is a personal letter that is typically used to apply for a job. Although in a more general sense, application letters can be used when applying for virtually anything; from a club membership to an application for entry into a school.

to express your interest in attending an institution or receiving a position. It showcases your abilities and strengths, and illustrates your experience.

Garrett A. Morgan Garrett Augustus Morgan was born in Paris, Kentucky, on March 4, 1877. He was the seventh of eleven children born to Sydney Morgan, a former slave who was freed in 1863, and Elizabeth (Reed) Morgan.
